Q: When is the Blueberry Patch open?
A: The Patch has celebrations on the 1st, 7th, 11th and 22nd of every month with occasional bonus nights that are announced in advance. We are also open EVERY Saturday at 11:11am for Volunteer Day!
Q: What are your hours?
A: On Patch nights, doors open at 7pm. We close at 1am on week nights and 2am on weekends. On Volunteer days, we open at 11:11am.
Q: Is there an entry fee?
A: There is a $5 donation for regular Patch nights until 12am. We encourage everyone to participate on Volunteer Day, which takes place every Saturday at 11:11am! When you volunteer, you will receive a volunteer pass ($5 value), which can be redeemed during a future Patch night. You may also earn a stage pass ($5 value) by participating on stage during Open Mic and/or Open Jam nights. The Blueberry Patch events are sponsored by ‘Sharevival at the Blueberry Patch, Inc.’, a Florida registered nonprofit 501 C organization. An donation program has been established to ensure the ongoing survival and future development of the Patch.
Q: Do I need my ID to get in?
A: Yes. If you do not have your ID, we will assume you are a minor (see below).
Q. How do you handle entry for minors?
A. We no longer allow individuals under the age of 18 except on special children events and on volunteer days.
Q: What type of events take place at the Patch?
A: Open Mic Night
We welcome everyone to perform any talent they wish to share as long as it’s safe, legal, entertaining and moderately appropriate for children. During the second Open Mic of the month, a musician or band is featured from 9-10pm. If you are interested in performing during Open Mic night, we encourage you to arrive early to sign up, as the slots are quickly filled. After your performance, don’t forget to ask for your stage pass ($5 value), which can be redeemed during a future Patch night.
Open Jam Night
Bring your instruments and join in a band experience with the Blueberry Patch house band. If you would like to participate in our potluck, please bring a dish to share.
Featured Band Night
A band or musician is featured and plays the entire evening. Stop by the stage for ‘Paint at the Patch’, a community art project that draws inspiration from the live music coming from the stage.
The Ink Tank, founded by the late Peter Duffy, was created to promote creativity through the Literary Arts at the Blueberry Patch. This takes place one Sunday each month.
